Löwensenf x Bring!: Platzierung während der Weihnachtszeit


Nicht nur bei einem Grillabend die erste Wahl, auch in der Weihnachtszeit unverzichtbar: Löwensenf! Im Rahmen einer vierwöchigen Kampagne arbeitete der renommierte deutsche Senfhersteller Löwensenf mit der Einkaufslisten-App Bring! zusammen. Mit dem Ziel, die Markenbekanntheit zu steigern und die Verkäufe am Point of Sale nachhaltig zu erhöhen, wurden die Löwensenf Senfsorten in Form eines Sponsored Products und weiteren Ad-Formaten prominent platziert – und das mit grossem Erfolg! As part of the four-week "XMAS Special" campaign within the Bring! App, Löwensenf was prominently featured. This campaign, which took place during the Christmas season, included not only placement in popular Christmas categories at the top of the homepage but also the Sponsored Product and a sponsored recipe. This allowed Löwensenf to be charmingly placed at the moment of purchase decision.
Sponsored Product
The Sponsored Product, with its proven keyword targeting, is the essential ad format within the Bring! shopping list. It enables seamless integration of Löwensenf into the app through a lovingly designed product tile. When users enter specific search terms such as mustard, salmon, sausage, or ketchup, the tile for Löwensenf mustard is displayed alongside the generic search results. With one click on the tile, the product is directly added to the shopping list. Additionally, the product is integrated into the appropriate category for ingredients and spices, making it easy to find when browsing this category.

Furthermore, thanks to Product Flavors, the brand presents the entire product range and all available varieties of Löwensenf. This feature in the Bring! App not only allows users to get more information about Löwensenf mustard, but also to refine their product selection by discovering additional products from Löwensenf's range. Thus, users could select variants like “Spicy” or “Medium” of Löwensenf alongside the highlighted “Organic Dijon” according to their personal preference.


Sponsored Recipe
As part of the Bring! Special “Xmas” a Sponsored Recipe, was also included in the campaign, displayed to users in the Inspiration tab of the app. Using the recipe “Roulades with Löwensenf Organic Dijon” users were inspired to prepare the product directly in a Christmas recipe context. The required ingredients and appropriate quantities could be added to the shopping list with a single click. Furthermore, the “View Recipe” button directed users to the Löwensenf website to learn the exact preparation steps.


Theme world: Christmas time
Especially through its placement in the “Christmas Season” theme world, Löwensenf was able to achieve a significant awareness boost. Here, the Sponsored Product is placed with other hand-picked products directly on the homepage and thematically embedded in the Christmas context. The “Christmas Season” theme world was displayed to users at the top of the start screen during the festive days, thus achieving targeted higher awareness.
Conclusion
The Löwensenf campaign in the Bring! App is a complete success. Through the targeted combination of push and pull formats, strong attention was generated not only for Löwensenf Organic Dijon but also for sales at the point of sale.
